Centred around the body and the grotesque, the beating heart of my practice revisits my own lived experiences within the dance industry. Through numerous mediums such as film, textiles, sculpture and painting, I strive to create pieces that are both playful and challenging, inviting the viewer to engage with the artistic process, unearthing nuance and uncomfortable truths.  It is this collaborative approach that both inspires and drives my creativity.

The narrative of my practice is rooted in feminist theory with recent pieces focusing on the relationship between the female body and the physical world specifically the tension between societal expectation and reality; subjugation and autonomy.
